Entering Costa Rica

We got to the aduana (customs 🛃) to buy insurance, that all went smoothly (around $49usd for a month of insurance) and then you get your temporary import permit, unfortunately the woman processing this was on lunch, so we had to wait for 35 minutes for her to get back to do the paper work.

In total the whole process of leaving Nicaragua and entering Costa Rica today took around 2 and a half hours. Probably our longest border crossing yet! Czytaj więcej
