Tour buses galore!

The street running parallel to the one the hostel was on, one block towards the beach, ran past the back entrance of a major tourist hotel--a Hilton, I think. So it was always crowded with tour buses picking up guests. I liked that one tour company was named after me. And me.

A nearby hotel always had great musical guests, and the hole-in-the-wall eatery at one end of the short street the hostel was on served excellent food in modest surroundings.Read more
