This is where the Pilgrimage Santiago De Compostela finishes. You could feel the energy of the pilgrims. Felt a bit of an imposter, but it was very interesting.

We drove up over some really high peaks on the way to Leon. And onto, where we stayed the night. A big day on the ride. Dinner at the camp ground restaurant.

We got up early. Packed up the DMAX and drove the 200 meters over to the Teleferico Fuente De to go up 753m to 1823m altitude in 3 minutes 40 seconds.

Camping El Redondo Picos Europa

We left Potes in the afternoon and drove up to Camping El Redondo Picos Europa, a campground near the vernacular we’ll catch to the top of the mountain, tomorrow morning.

I took Bich and the boys up to The Monastry and the chapels I saw this morning, after breakfast. Then we wandered potes and had lunch there. Swimming in snow melt was refreshing.

On to Arenilles.

We camped at Camping Playa Arenillas. Bich cooked dinner. Great meal. No idea really where we are. Might aim for the mountains tomorrow.
Bilbao and the Guggenheim Museum.

We left Orio making our way to the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, as Michael chose it as our activity for the day. It was a V little to Arty for some of us, but Michael was in his element.

Amazing walk up to the mountain along the coast, over the mountain. Beautiful scenery.
