• Flying to the US with Norse: my opinion

    August 9, 2025 in Italy ⋅ ☀️ 29 °C

Flying intercontinental on a low-cost airline for the first time.
It’s Norse, which for less than €600 in August, and under €400 in April, will get you round-trip to New York. And also WizzAir may enter this market soon, with a new London-New York flight.

Norse is a super low-cost airline: blankets, headphones, food, drinks, checked-in bag all cost extra. You need to be prepared and aware that it’s a no-frills service (Ryanair-style) that gets you from point A to point B at a very low price, with only the basics included.

Want to save money and don’t care about extras? Norse is perfect!
Want to travel comfortably with full service? Go for another airline and obviously be ready to pay more.
