New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) is one of the oldest stock exchanges in the world, founded in 1792.
The building itself was inaugurated in 1902 and is designed in a neoclassical style, with beautiful Corinthian columns that make it resemble a Greek or Roman temple.

The building is still operational, although most trading today is done electronically and remotely.

Trinity Church and the grave of Alexander Hamilton

Trinity Church is one of New York’s most famous churches.
Like Saint Thomas Church, it’s built in a Gothic style, with beautiful spires that make it easily recognizable among the modern buildings of Wall Street.

On the outside, it’s more beautiful than Saint Thomas Church, while inside, Saint Thomas, with its decorated altar and stained glass windows, is far more distinctive and charming.

The church is also known for the small cemetery next to it, where important figures like Alexander Hamilton are buried.

Hamilton, one of the founding fathers and the creator of the American central bank, died in a duel, killed by the vice president. He’s also seen as a symbol of wealth, commerce, and finance, so it’s believed that tossing coins onto his grave brings economic luck.Läs mer

Cars look tiny, and the Empire State Building stands proudly in front of us.

It’s definitely an expensive experience, but absolutely worth it.

New York isn’t just glass and concrete skyscrapers. So we took a few hours to explore the neighborhoods of Soho, Little Italy, and Chinatown.

- Soho was once an industrial district and has become a hub for high-end fashion and shopping. Its buildings are beautiful, characterized by the iconic cast-iron fire escapes on the outside.

- Little Italy is the Italian neighborhood, created by the first Italian immigrants 🇮🇹. Today it has shrunk a lot due to the neighboring Chinatown, and it felt quite touristy and less authentically Italian.
