Lisbon

In Lisbon we ate numerous pastries. We slept in a comfortable queen bed. We ate pizza, drank beer, and sourced several bifanas (fried pork sandwiches). We wandered through the unending flea market. We walked up and down hills, along the waterfront, around and around in random loops through the tiled streets.

We also said goodbye.

Back to Boston, and onwards to Paris. I spent my remaining 30-ish hours in Lisbon mostly napping and walking back and forth to the great supermarket I had found days prior. Many a snack eaten outside on the marble steps of Rossio station, or on the fringes of the nightly protests in the square.

Lisbon was beautiful. Somehow (I should know better) more touristy than I expected, but beautiful. I am ready for home ❤️Read more
