Early To Bed & No Mosquitoes!!

Like usual, I was up and gone by 0430. The morning is just a blur; I was on autopilot 🤣. When I got to the first stop, it took me more than a few seconds to figure out where I was and which photo I needed to take 🤣😳.

I heard the smoke is all the way into New York now. Wow! I've been in it all day, of course, but I didn't have any ashes falling on me, so 👍. It's not bad this evening where I'm camped at Appleton HD. It's hanging like a fog without the dampness, and I can't smell it. Of course, I probably can't smell anything right now after inhaling smoke all day 🤣.

I stopped at 1245 to eat some lunch and cool off. I know, McDonald's is terrible, but you can get a chicken sandwich, 4 nuggets, fries, and a drink for only $5. $5! Plus, this store had the soda machine where you could get refills (many are now charging for refills), so I made sure to fill up my water bottles before I left. An hour later, I wasn't sweating anymore and ready to go.

The afternoon was also a blur, but I cut out about 150 miles off today's route by skipping two Ride To Eat locations. That gave me some extra time this evening, which I'm going to use right now for sleep. And I don't have to lather up in mozzie spray either! Yay! G'nite! 💪
