Arrival in Woodstock

I lmanaged to get some decent rest last night despite the temperature remaining over 80°F. I had to get up once to pee.... I don't mind peeing in public. I just try to hide from where I think cameras may be looking. I'm fairly certain I was hiding when I tucked myself behind a large bike trailer that I camped next to. However, when I was getting ready to roll, I discovered my pee left quite the trail down the parking lot, all the way to the drain. I really had to go 🤣.

It was a fairly uneventful day, just riding the Iowa and Wisconsin byways for the AULDR challenge and hitting a couple of Tour of Honor stops and HDs along the way. I also bagged the Wisconsin State Capitol building 💪.

But there's always something that happens, right? This time it wasn't while I was riding.

I was in a gas station, and the male attendant decided to make a joke with me. He said, "A woman's perogative is to change her mind. A man's responsibility is to change it back." 🤔 I replied, "No, the man's responsibility is to tell her, 'I support your decision.'" And in my brain I continued with, "She doesn't give a fuck what you think, you misogynistic prick 🖕." He didn't have anything else say to me 🤣.

I got to the hotel about 1530 without (yay!) running into the back of a giant thunderstorm...although it did drop the wind temperature quite significantly. Happily, while unloading the bike, I ran into none other than Junie Rose, the Hoka Hey organizer, and Jimmy. And now we're about to go grab some dinner. I'll probably get mine take away as I'm too hot to eat right now.
