Last Capitol Building 💪👍🤗

When I woke up at 0500, a gale was blowing, so I went back to bed for an hour. Then another hour. Then 30 more minutes. By 0730, the front had passed, and despite it still raining a bit, I rolled out at 0800 determined to make some miles.

It was very slow going with the wet roads and road spray, but I plodded along and stayed fairly dry (except my boots). Since it was already 70°F and only getting warmer, I didn't really care about getting wet.

Around 1315, I dove into Sea Breeze HD in Wilmington NC just seconds before the final front slammed into me. Fortunately it didn't last long, and I was rolling again around 1400. The rest of the day is where I made most of my miles.

The biggest thing today was that I got my final State Capitol Building!!! WOO HOO!!! So very happy to finish that huge challenge!!

Since I was back in Columbia SC and with the weather being so nice tonight, I decided to sleep at Harley Haven again, which is where I am now. G'nite!!
