Aeropuerto Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajes

Change over, left a nice comfy British Airways plane for a vintage Iberia plane. When they'd finished winding it up it puttered all the way down the runway and didn't fall apart on take off, impressive! In flight entertainment courtesy of two large, flip down monitors in the middle aisle, totally retro. Fed me well though so there shall be no complaining.
Even better... after wondering as to whether we were supposed to pick up our own luggage in Madrid, it was actually waiting for us in Rio, backpacking IS easier with a backpack, after all. Off to a literal flying start!Læs mere
