Barra de la Cruz

Our next stop was Barra de la Cruz. With only going 7km/4.3miles it was a short drive. This town is a little larger and a little more popular. We had heard there would be 50 or more people on the wave, but luckly that hasn't been the case. Maybe only 15 at most. We found nice accomadations at Pasada Dos Hermanas. A private room with two twin beds and en suite bathroom. The surfing has been better for me here. The wave is a point break right hander with a sandy bottom. The first few waves I tried tossed me into the washing machine, but the next few I got my pop up and derectional start back. I still prefer the left handers being that I am a goofy footer.Read more
