Whale watching at Sunshine Coast

After our K’Gari trip, we went on a short whale-watching tour, just a couple of hours out at sea. At first, we weren’t too impressed. The whales were far in the distance, barely breaking the surface. But things quickly turned around when one of them started breaching over and over, right near the boat.

For nearly twenty jumps, it put on an incredible show, and I managed to capture some amazing shots. What started off as underwhelming ended up being one of the most memorable moments of the trip.Read more
