Later in the afternoon, we headed over to the August after finding out that the Savannah River Canal tour had been cancelled because they ran the boat aground earlier in the day. The museum was really pretty good. There was, of course, a lot of info on Augusta National Golf Course and the The Masters, and a large section covering the life and career of the "Godfather of Soul" James Brown, who was born and raised in Augusta.
Other pics include the Presbyterian church that President Wilson's father was pastor of during the Civil War, a pic from the window of our hotel and one of the inside of Hildebrandt's which was a little German deli where we had lunch.Read more
