    Drayton Hall

    March 25, 2017 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 22 °C

On our way from Augusta to Charleston we stopped at Drayton Hall which is west of Charleston. it is a plantation dating all the way back to 1738 and the only Plantation home near Charleston that managed to survive both the Revolutionary and Civil wars. The building has been kept largely in the state it would have been in centuries ago so it does look rather old. The rest of the grounds are nice as well and the tour was very informative.Read more
