Dangars Falls

The night before, we got here for a free campground. But I couldn't imagine what I found! All campsites have a fire pit and therefore not enough! The "Parks and Wildlife service" provides you even with a bit of firewood! So I cooked up a big pot of rice on the fire!

Another day, another Waterfall a little bit dry maybe. But I'm sure an impressive one after a lot of rain!
We also took a walk along the rim of the Gorge to the "Wallaby Lookout". There we could catch some views in the Gorge. On the way we even hat to cross the "Salisbury Waters"(river) which falls down the Gorge.
Unfortunately I couldn't find a hight of the fall, but I guess somethig around the 100m, again.

Wir sind hier schon gestern Abend angekommen, um an den angrenzenden, kostenlosen Campingplatz zu nächtigen. Aber was ich dort vorgefunden hab konnte ich fast nicht glauben.
Die Campsites hatten alle Lagerfeuerstellen. Damit nicht genug, der "Park and Wildlife service" (sowas wie a NP- Polizei) stellt sogar noch ein wenig Feuerholz zu Verfügung! Also Hab ich gleich mal einen großen Topf Reis auf dem Lagerfeuer gekocht!

Auch wieder im "Oxley Wild Rivers" NP sind the "Dangars Fälle". Wir sind entlang der Schlucht zu dem "Wallaby Lookout" gegangen wo man einen super Blick in die Gorge hatte! Am Weg mussten wir sogar den "Salisbury Waters"(Fluss) überqueren, der wenig später in die Schlucht hinabstürzt!
Über die Höhe könnte ich zwar nichts lesen, aber ich denke auch mal wieder so um die 100 m.Читать далее
