Waipoua Kauri Forest

I went to the ancient "Kauri" forest. Where I could see the world biggest "Kauritree". (29,9m high and a girth of 16,41m) It's name is "Te Matua Naghere" what means father of the forest! as well as the second largest which I actually found bigger!

Heute ging es zum "Te Matua Naghere", was der “Vater des Waldes“ bedeutet. Mit einer Höhe von 29,9m und einem Umfang von 16,41m ist er der größte “Kauri“ Baum der Welt! Danach habe ich auch noch den zweitgrößten besucht, welchen ich größer fand. Czytaj więcej
