This morning I woke at 6:15 (an hour late) to find James and Moki on shore and fresh coffee waiting on the stove ❤️. We got underway at 7:30 and it was already 85 degrees in the cabin. Our first stop was to Crown Point State Historic Site. It was a quick visit as it was already 90 degrees. Our second and final stop put us in Button Bay just as a storm was moving in. The temperature dropped almost 20 degree to a comfortable 73. We are at anchor tonight with easy access to shore and a short trail for stretching the legs. More rain in the forecast for this evening and the next couple days. 29 miles today. Secchi 1.6 in 3.4 M. Button Bay BTW is named for the button-like concretions formed by clay deposits found along the shoreline.Read more
