    Murchison

    January 14 in New Zealand ⋅ ⛅ 14 °C

    Calm day for me today.
I got a lot of tips for my next days from an older man on the campground this morning, what I really appreciate😊 Now I am really good prepared for the West Coast! 👍🏼
I was driving to Murchison today. A nice little town on the way to the West Coast, famous for the Buller Gorge River.
I took some smaller stops on the way and arrived already at lunchtime in Murchison.
I decided to went to the longest swing bridge in New Zealand, the Buller Gorge Swingbridge! It's 110m long and around 20 m over the river.
Really amazing to walk over this big swing bridge.
After that, I took a walk around the park, but the sand flys got very annoying, so I just stayed for like an hour and then took the Cometline back. That's a Zipline beside the swing bridge. It was really nice, but the break system was extremely hard 😳

I decided to went to the Campground and have a relaxed afternoon.
Need to get up early tomorrow, it’s finally time for my first White Water Rafting 🤩✌🏼
