Day 18 - Port Chalmers/Dunedin

Today we docked at 7am at Port Chalmers on the east coast of the south island of NZ.

Viajante When we were there in Nov 2012 the Dunedin's Caledonian Society celebrated 150 years of keeping Scottish heritage alive, so conversed with the locals in the supermarket and around town with them dressed in period costume . Unfortunately the celebrations prevented us from seeing the city with some main streets blocked off. But non the less very interesting. We did get to see the live show Calendar Girls at a local church converted into a theatre. Lovely city.
