Madrid to Barcelona

I had a fairly late start and after breakfast and a short run got a transfer to the airport at 11:00 a.m.. A captain and then had some more food and a drink while waiting for the plane in the Iberia lounge.

Boarding was pretty swift and the flight was just under an hour during which time they managed to serve, drink and some nibbles - Spanish ham, cheese and bread stick pieces.

On arrival with no customs to go through, it was a quick walk to the station for the short trip into the city. I checked into hotel and then headed back out again to go and meet at Ed who by now had finished work as it was 4:00 p.m.. We had a couple of beers in a street bar and then came back to the hotel for a shower and then headed out for a few more drinks and some food.
