Galveston ist ein kleines Städtchen gleich neben Houston am Golf von Mexiko. Es wird hier etwas als "Weekend Getaway" gesehen und ist bekannt für seine kleinen Shops und guten (Fisch-) Restaurants. In einem der traditionellen Lokale gibt es dann auch Znacht - denn man gönnt sich sonst ja nichts.
Wichtig ist jedoch, dass man sich voll auf das Städtchen fokusiert und den Blick nicht zu weit schweifen lässt. Dann sieht man nämlich die Öl-Raffinerien und die Öl-Plattform im Trockendeck nicht.

Galveston is a small town right next to Houston on the Gulf of Mexico. It is seen as a weekend getaway and is known for its small shops and good (fish) restaurants. Dinner is served in one of the traditional restaurants - because you have to treat yourself sometimes.
