Across Two Continents

Etwa 6'500 Kilometer mit dem Auto, 5'600 Kilometer mit dem Flugzeug, 2'000 Kilometer mit dem Zug und rund 700 Kilometer mit dem Bus, so lautet die Bilanz unserer Reise. Ein Abenteuer, das uns durch elf Länder und über zwei Kontinente geführt hat - von den vertrauten Kulissen der Alpen über das tiefblaue Schwarze Meer an der türkischen Küste und die abgelegenen Bergwelten des Kaukasus bis zu den endlosen Steppen Kasachstans und den Wüsten Usbekistans.
Nun sind wir wieder zu Hause. Was von dieser Reise bleibt, sind Geschichten über spontane Begegnungen, unzählige Grenzübertritte, einen erstaunlich unverwüstlichen Mitsubishi, schlaflose Nächte im Zug und Orte, die wir ohne diese Reise wohl nie entdeckt hätten.

Around 6,500 kilometres by car, 5,600 kilometres by plane, 2,000 kilometres by train and around 700 kilometres by bus - that’s the total for our journey. An adventure that took us through eleven countries and across two continents - from the familiar scenery of the Alps, via the deep-blue Black Sea on the Turkish coast and the remote mountain landscapes of the Caucasus, to the endless steppes of Kazakhstan and the deserts of Uzbekistan.
Now we’re back home. What remains of this journey are stories of chance encounters, countless border crossings, an astonishingly indestructible Mitsubishi, sleepless nights on the train and places we would probably never have discovered without this journey.Read more
