Day 2 Round 1

Woke up during the night to good rain and yep it was wet in the morning and there was a call on the PA around 7 to notify a delay as the decide what to do, got a start around 8:30 after they ripped the arena and then put a big mob of cows in to repack it down, came up good, it was a cool day and we all felt it.
A tough days for the teams the cattle were pretty ratty in the morning, Ben and Archie had a few runs in the Subbies and did a great job running the 5 cattle through.
The cattle got better as the day went on but no one managed to get the 10 thru in time, until Teresa and Locky went in with the ‘go hard or go home’ attitude later in the avo and ripped out 1 minute 2 second run, the best time of the day so far, wasn’t long before the day was done a great effort after a late start, time for a few bevies then off to presentation and no surprise Teresa and Locky walked away with 1st for the day and outstanding job, more drinks around the fire and then back to our camp for dinner and a lot more bevies into bed around midnight.Read more
