Beddgelert to Pont Bethania

The Crib Goch outdoor shop did have some outer socks so off I set, newly shod. The A498 east out of Beddgelert passes north east of the first lake in the Gwynant valley Llyn Dinas (lake fort). The Cambrian Way is routed south of this lake on a quiet road (no cars passed me) then a lakeside path. The 3 and a bit miles on easy terrain took me 90 minutes because I was ambling, photographing and taking in the view. Well that’s my excuse anyway!Read more
