Day Four - Hopsital de Bruma

I was up early this morning! People began getting up as early as 4:30. I got up around 5:30 setting off at 6:26 with a lovely moon and Venus in the sky up above. Walking out of Betanzos at that hour was quiet and beautiful. The sun rose about 40 minutes later. The distance was almost the same as yesterday (25km), but today felt so much better! There were a LOT of hills and inclines, but somehow my legs were less heavy. It was a nice walk, few places to stop along the way. It was two and a half hours before we reached an open café, so coffee was later than expected. I had two café con leches and a tostada with butter and jam. It was yummy!
25km later, Lee and I reached our municipal albergue before 1:00! We were racing for a bed since there are only 22 and no other lodging available in the little hamlet of Hospital de Bruma. But we were there in plenty of time and can now sink into our bunks and rest easy. We have beds reserved for tomorrow, so no more concerns for a place to sleep.
