Mineral Belt

Heute haben wir ein Stück des Mineral Belt Rundwegs rund um Leadville bewandert. Wir erreichen eine Höhe von rund 3200m, hier merkt man ganz deutlich das die Luft schon echt dünn ist.
Welch schöne Aussichten wir immer wieder genießen dürfen. Immer wieder weisen Infotafeln auf die historische Bergbaugeschichte der Umgebung hin. Hier wurde sehr viel Eisenerz und Silber abgebaut.
