Graham wanted to stop here. Was a township of over 1000 Chinese miners and their families. He expected to see some ruins. But it was just a short board walk into the forest.

We spent 2 nights here. An interesting town if you are into Mountain Biking. I think we were the only people here without one.

A rainy day. Did the short drive to see the magnificent tree carvings.

We just stayed overnight at Scottsdale. They had a lovely free camp area. With water connections for your vans. Nice longer hot showers. But you couldn't use your generator. So with the weather being Czytaj więcej
Mike & Annies Front Paddock

We ended up spending 4 nights here. Just out of Launceston.
The farm dogs were regular visited. Was a lovely big flat grassy paddock. Plenty of room to spread out. Mike was very friendly. Didn't meet Czytaj więcej

Did a nice drive today. Heading back through Beaconsfield to Holwell Gorge. Was a rough walk, but it was worth it. Spotted some great fungi. Feeling very adventurous.

Stopped for fuel at a Burringun roadhouse. Just over the Qld/NSW boarder.

Kinchega NP is only a short drive from our camp on the lake. We did the Lake Drive today and spotted lots of Emus, Roos, and Shingleback lizards.
A lovely NP to drive through. Good dirt roads.
