    June 5 in Mongolia ☁️ 16 °C

You already know my morning routine by now, so let's jump straight into today's adventure shall we! :D

We started by heading back to the "Singing Dunes" we saw yesterday, but this time, we actually climbed it. Apparently, this is the highest sand dune in all of Mongolia, and let me tell you, it was as exhausting as it sounds. The first 2/3 weren't too bad, but the final stretch was brutal. It’s incredibly frustrating to take one step forward only to slide half a step back in the loose sand. But against all odds, I made it to the top - and it was worth every bit of effort!

Once we made it back down, we had a pretty long drive to the next town "Bulgan". We even got lost along the way; navigating through Mongolias landscape is no joke! To motivate us a bit, our driver let me take the wheel of our fancy ride for a bit. That was an absolute blast, even though I almost crashed it! :D

As soon as we rolled into Bulgan, we grabbed a late lunch at a lovely restaurant before heading over to the famous Flaming Cliffs - the very spot where Roy Chapman Andrews and his expedition discovered the world's first dinosaur eggs.

Tonight, we’re staying at a campsite just a few minutes away. We just had a warm bowl of soup, together with some deep conversations around the dinner table with other travelers.

Now it's time to freshen up and hit the bed.
Good night to you all - or good day, depending on where you are! ;)
