• Santiago Chile!

    February 16, 2024 in Chile ⋅ ☀️ 30 °C

Although it is summer and the weather is in the 80’s most days, it is not humid and cools off in the evenings. Distance to the south of the continent makes the days longer too. In many ways, Santiago looks and feels less Spanish Colonial and more 19th century European and modern (Likely thanks to the many earthquakes in the region including the largest ever recorded quake of 9.5 in 1960). There’s an extensive subway system so getting around is easy and quick. On a very clear day you can see the Andes surrounding the city.Read more
