So far, I'm happy.

A rooftop bar with a view helps.

On the metro at 12AM a horde of happy young men chant enthusiasm over their team's victory; weary travelers exchange amused expressions; workers from late and early shifts commute semi-oblivious to the ruckus. I saw locals kindly direct lost foreigners, help them with the metro tickets, and I gratefully mooched that help by observation.
