Big Meadow

This is the end of day two. I didn't plan it but hiked 15 miles. That seems to be the average around here. I met a guy from Seattle, Perry, about my age, retired from Starbucks Corporate. He started working with them when they were just a small company. Anyway I hiked with him all day, and all day we passed runners doing the Tahoe 200 Trail Race. Yep, that 200 is the milage. They were at about 80 miles at that point. That slowed us up because I ended up talking to a lot of them. We reached Big Meadow late in the afternoon,. and just pull into the woods to camp.Leer más
