El Calafate, Perito Moreno I

Von Buenos Aires geht es in den Südosten, nach Patagonien, genauer gesagt, nach El Calafate. Eine Empfehlung von Onkel Erwin. Am nächsten Morgen geht es gleich per Bus und Schiff zum hiesigen Highlight, dem Perito Moreno Gletscher. Eine Augenweide. Egal, bei welchen Wetter (hier ist Herbst, schon Nebensaison). Nach der Hinfahrt durch die Pampa - erst nix, dann Büsche, dann Bäume, strahlt einen der Gletscher herrlich blau durch das graue Wetter an. Man muss nicht genau hinhören, um ihn zu hören. Er ist laut, ächzt und stöhnt und knackt und kracht. Man merkt ihm sein Alter an. Und wenn es soweit ist und er wieder ein Stückchen Eis ans Wasser abgibt, passiert das mit einem beeindruckenden und respekteinflössendem Gedonner. Danach Einschlag, Welle und Geklirre im Wasser (wenn die kleinen Eisstückchen aneinander stoßen). Tolles Ding! 😍
