Nach der Bootsfahrt geht es zu Fuß weiter. Der Nationalpark hat einen wunderschönen Fußpfad gebaut, der gut in die Landschaft passt und den Besucher an verschiedene Aussichtspunkte bringt. Der Gletscher trennt zwei Gewässer voneinander. Er ging einmal direkt an Land heran, bis der Wasserdruck zu groß wurde und erst eine Gletscherbrücke entstand, die dann im März 2018 während eines Sturmes mit einem spektakulären Einsturz verschwand. Da der Gletscher sich weiter vorwärts schiebt, könnte es irgendwann wieder “zuwachsen”. Irgendwann. Vielleicht.
