Chile, Summary

Ich war nicht so lange in diesem schönen Land. Eigentlich habe ich nur die Atacama Wüste besucht, einen wunderschönen langen Abend/Nacht in Santiago verbracht und mehrmals die Anden überflogen. Viele andere haben aber auch vom Süden und Norden geschwärmt, da muss man wohl nochmal wiederkommen. Aber die Entfernungen sind schon enorm, Chile ist einfach mal ewig lang (4.275 km). Und hat auch deutsche Preise zu bieten, dementsprechend ist es nicht das billigste Reiseland. Dafür wird man am Flughafen gut beschallt. Am Calama Airport liefen in Endlosschleife alle Hits von Michael Jackson. Ich sass dort 2,5 Stunden… In Santiago de Chile hingegen lief bei der Immigration ein Wiener Walzer und am Gate “Guten Abend, Gute Nacht”…. morgens um 04:30 Uhr. Was sie aber hinkriegen, ist eine Art Lebensmittelampel, was Deutschland ja nicht so schafft. Hat mich natürlich nicht davon abgehalten, die Schoki im vollen Bewusstsein ihrer Schlechtigkeit trotzdem zu kaufen. 😉

I haven't been in this beautiful country that long. Actually, I only visited the Atacama Desert, spent a wonderful long evening/night in Santiago and flew over the Andes several times. But many others have also raved about the south and north, so you have to come back again. But the distances are enormous, Chile is just forever long (4,275 km). And also has German prices to offer, so it is not the cheapest travel destination. But you get good sound at the airport. All of Michael Jackson's hits played in an endless loop at Calama Airport. I sat there for 2.5 hours... In Santiago de Chile, on the other hand, a Viennese waltz was played at immigration and "Good evening, good night" at the gate.... at 04:30 in the morning. But what they manage is a kind of food traffic light, which Germany doesn't do that well. Of course that didn't stop me from buying the chocolate anyway, fully aware of its badness. 😉Meer informatie
