Inca Trail, First Day

Piskacucho (2.720m)-Ayapata (3.300m)

Moderater erster Tag. Viel Landschaft, mit den anderen quatschen und der erste Ausstieg. Ein Paar entschloss sich aufzuhören, da die Dame Probleme mit der Lunge bekam. Später wurde eine Bronchitis diagnostiziert. Die Nacht war kalt, aber das Zelt zum Glück bequem. Nachts wachte ich auf, als ich direkt neben dem Zelt ein Fress-Geräusche hörte. Tapfer nahm ich meine Taschenlampe und krabbelte nach draußen. Meine erste Begegnung mit einem Stinktier. Zum Glück hinterließ es keine Duft-Spuren.

Moderate first day. A lot of landscape, talk to the others and the first drop out. A couple decided to step out as the lady was getting problems with the lungs. Later a bronchitis was diagnosed. The night was cold but the tent was comfy. At night I woke up as I heard some noise just outside the tent. Bravely I took my torch and went outside. My first encounter with a skunk.
