Đà Nẵng, Rong Bridge

Ich verlasse das schaurige Hoi An (also wettermäßig gesehen) und fahre noch nicht mal eine Stunde nach Da Nang, wo man gleich mal Strand sieht, aber auch die roten Fahnen - zu hohe Wellen zum Baden. Der Busfahrer hält netterweise noch vor der Rong Brücke, da muss ich nicht so weit mit dem Rucksack gehen. Der Inhaber des Hostels nimmt mich mit zu seinem Lieblingsladen, als ich nach einem guten Bánh Mì frage. Und auch dort ist mein Hühnchen-Ei-Baguette der Hammer. Heiss, fluffig-kross und gut gewürzt - so wie das andere auch. Ich bin Fan. Vom Lokal sind es nur noch 50m zum Fluß. In der Hitze schlafen Verkäufer und Weihnachtslieder klingen einfach nur lustig. Dann sehe ich auch, woher die Rong Brücke ihren Namen hat, Auf der snderen Seite des Han Flusses liegt noch ein gehäutetes Gürteltier… Kunst halt.

I leave Hoi An and drive less than an hour to Da Nang, where you can immediately see the beach, but also the red flags - waves too high for swimming. And my chicken and egg baguette is awesome there too. Hot, fluffy, crispy and well seasoned - just like the other one the day before. I'm becoming a fan. It's only 50m from the restaurant to the river Han. Salespeople sleep in the heat and Christmas carols just sound fun. Then I also see where the Rong Bridge gets its name from.
