Disko 10: Inching north, waiting for wind

No rush, calm weather and 2 days until good wind arrives for sailing north. Today we make a 20 NM hop north, enjoy the sun and anchor under a cliff filled with Great Cormorants. Some relaxing, some boat work, some SUP’ing. Beauty everywhere.

With the drone I visit the cormorants and see young ones waiting for food and seemingly struggling with the heat. The sun is burning onto the south-facing cliff. After dinner we go for a dinghy ride over the glassy sea. And the day concludes with an arctic fox traversing shore. Tomorrow we shall motor past Disco Island towards the open sea.Okumaya devam et
