Torres del Paine

„Welcome to Torres del Paine National Park, a natural treasure located along the End of the World Route. The name “Paine” comes from the Aonikenk word meaning “sky blue” and was given by the Chilean baqueano Santiago Zamora, who explored the area around 1870.“

Dillon kämpft mit einer leichten Grippe 🤒 und verbringt die Tage vorwiegend im Van. Melanie zieht derweil mit Andi los auf Puma-Suche. Die berühmte Wanderung zu den Torres del Paine, lassen wir diesmal aus. Andi hat noch immer mit seiner Achillessehne zu kämpfen, und längere Touren mit vielen Höhenmetern passen aktuell einfach nicht. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Dazu kommt ein Wind, der so stark bläst, dass wir uns kaum vorstellen können, dass irgendetwas freiwillig unterwegs ist. Selbst die Guanacos, die man sonst überall sieht, scheinen sich ebenfalls windgeschützt zurückgezogen zu haben.Read more
