Back to Lisbon

Bailey really wanted her Franchesina for supper so once we checked in to the hotel we headed out on foot to explore some of the city.
Lisbon is built on seven hills and every day is leg day in Lisbon! Even going down can be a workout!
Along the way to supper we passed by another of my bucket list Bordalo’s 😁
After a yummy Portuguese sandwich smothered in the best cheesy gravy, we headed up around the corner to Pink Street - something that both Bailey and I wanted to experience. It did not disappoint. The street is painted pink and it’s a hotbed for nightlife. We arrived around 8:30 so things were starting but since most places along the street close between 4 and 6 am - we were glad to be missing that!
We stopped for a drink at a spot that had the cutest little tables and chairs (think back to parent/teacher interviews for primary school!) and wouldn’t you know it - it was a bookstore and a bar - how cool!
We didn’t stay out long as we knew we needed our rest to prepare for the biggest day of the trip on Monday - Sintra!Read more
