Travel day

Bags are packed, breakfast done. Prescription collected. Slow shuffle to the Plaza where we sit in the sun until it’s time to get our train. Peter is managing with his rucksack, it’s not great but there is no way I can carry them both.

We have moved from bench to bench, in search of a bit of shade. Both bored and fed up. The only plus point is the anti inflammatory drugs have kicked in and eased the pain somewhat.

Neither of us hungry for lunch. We decide at 1:30 to head for the station. A two hour wait but we are inside out of the sun. Nothing here apart from some vending machines.

The train was due to leave at 15:19. We are still sat at the station (train finally left after a 50 minute wait……. train ride is nearly 4 hrs so we will be lucky to get to Seville by 8pm ( make that 9pm)

Dinner at 10 isn’t our favourite time but by the time to got to the hotel that was it.
