Geelong Lazy Days

Alright so not much to report for these two days. Tuesday May 3rd I went out around noon to the waterfront. The weather was crazy with really strong winds. It was nice watching the storm brew on the sea from the cafe only meters from the waterfront. I had four chicken sliders which turned out to be much larger than I thought they would be. I was stuffed.

After working up the courage I set out to tackle the water front and the weather. I didn't last long but I did get to take some funny pictures with the bollards. The bollards are these weird sculptures the Australians place all over the beach. They're pretty weird in my opinion but they made for some great selfies haha.

After I went to the mall and I felt like I was back in Saskatoon. It's been a while since I've been to the mall. After a short stay Jamie came and picked me up and I relaxed for the afternoon watching a new series called vikings which I highly recommend.

In the evening we went out for chicken wings and then had a movie night at Jamie's. We watched sweet home Alabama which was pretty sub par before calling it a night. I also bought 4 packs of Tim Tams and ate so many!

Wednesday May 4

I was supposed to go to the zoo today but I didn't feel well so I stayed in. I had Mexican food with Jamie, but most of the day was spent on the couch watching Vikings. By about 6 ish Mel came and picked me up and we headed back to Ocean Grove. We relaxed at Mel's mom's house for the evening.

Tomorrow I'll go into Melbourne and see what I can find there! Goodnight!
