Saint Jean Pied de Port

We arrived in Saint Jean after driving from Lourdes to San Sebastián to drop off the car, then a train to Bayonne and Saint Jean. On the walk from the train station to town to get our passports we met Donna from Connecticut and helped her find her Hostal. We stayed in a wonderful Bed and Breakfast (Villa Harriet). Villa Harriet is attached to a winery. Tomorrow we begin. Our gracious host at our final night of luxury invited us into a tunnel where the local wine maker there ages their wine.Read more
