Saturday and Sunday in Lourdes Monday we prepare to start the Camino
We have arrived! Tomorrow we begin. Cool and rain maybe? 🙂 our gracious host at our final night of luxury invited us into a tunnel where the local wine maker there ages their wine.
Day one is complete. It was no joke. 5000 feet vertical. The paths at the top of the mountain pass were doable for sure, but muddy, rocky, windy, with rain. Beautiful, but a challenging day.
A 9 hour day today. Another somewhat challenging day.
