Shawna's Actual Wedding Set

After almost a month of searching just about every damn jewelry shop in town twice (seriously, I even went to the mall!), we finally found the perfect rings. I think I was really just looking for the ones in the Pinterest picture. I never did find them. We were able to find something pretty close though, and they didn't cost an insane amount of money.

As a side note: What is it with women's wedding rings? And weddings in general? I don't understand why I'm supposed to shell out a ton of money and go into debt in order to profess my love to someone I've been living with for nearly a decade. I have better things to spend my money on. Like more travel!

On the other hand... it is a great excuse to make everyone come to foreign countries with you. We had been trying for years to get our friends and family to travel with us. Unfortunately, our schedules just never seem to line up. (Suckers!)Read more
