6. Tag Nikosia (Vine Tour) II

Our first winery was Zambratas which is located in Agios Amvrosios. The winery was very modern and located in a picturesque setting. The wines were very good and the staff very welcoming.

We then went to Vouni, which has no wineries but produces a lot of wine. The village was very beautiful and had very narrow streets.

The most beautiful encounter was at the Atia Mayph winery. We passed there quite by chance and were welcomed by an elderly lady who owns the winery with her husband. She showed us around, explained everything and it turned out that they make the best Muscat wine for Germany, France and Cyprus and the 8th best in the world.Read more
