Day 25: Wake-up Honolulu

It’s almost sunrise - a bit before 7:00 AM - I climb up one level to deck 9 - the Sports Deck to get an unencumbered view of the city and sunrise. It’s warm out in the 70’s.

The port is jumping to life - you can hear the beeping of trucks and fork lifts as they navigate their way through the docks. Police or emergency vehicle sirens are heard in the distance, the city street traffic is picking up, planes fly directly over head; using the Neptune as a waypoint for their safe landing.

Looking eastward, behind the city skyscrapers and mountains - the morning sun makes way to usher in another day of this fantastic journey. Please enjoy these morning photos; as Honolulu wakes up to another day.En savoir plus
