TravelerMy uncle was on an aircraft carrier outside of Pearl Harbor when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. He was bringing up an aircraft when a Kamakazi flew into the elevator and knocked him back into the ship. He broke his back but survived. He was invited back to celebrate an anniversary and meet the president.
