The USS Arizona holds meaning to many of us in different ways. Over 30 years ago I visited her for the first time. My Uncle Eddie & Uncle Fred joined the Navy right after Pearl Harbor was attacked. They survived WWII, my thoughts are with them today.

ПутешественникMy uncle was on an aircraft carrier outside of Pearl Harbor when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. He was bringing up an aircraft when a Kamakazi flew into the elevator and knocked him back into the ship. He broke his back but survived. He was invited back to celebrate an anniversary and meet the president.
