Lazy Day by the River

Buffet breakfast with a visiting elephant, followed by relaxing with our feet in the river. Then we went to visit the local Mon tribe village, temple, school and viewpoint. Later on we put life jackets on and jumped into the river upstream and floated past our hotel room down to the other end of the hotel. The river was running rather fast, so getting out was a bit tricky, but we got better at it as we went along - great fun !!!
Quiet lunch, then Gary and Derek went for a canoe ride downstream to another hotel.
