A wander around the burb

This morning we had a bit of a late start, which we all needed after our big day of travel yesterday. Ian suggested we visit a Park close by, Parc de La Tête d’Or, the largest Urban Park in France. It is huge, with a very large lake, a free open air zoo, glass houses, a couple islands within the lake - one with a velodrome on it - a lovely rose garden, and a botanical garden. It was a perfect morning to stroll around this amazing park, and have a coffee and crepe in a shady cafe located next to the lake. We only saw a very small part of the park.Okumaya devam et
