Christianshavn and Castle Island

It is a beautiful sunny day here in Copenhagen and it is their Election Day. We headed off to walk through Christiansborg palace, which is beautifully kept. We made our way towards Christianshavn, passing the Danish Architecture Centre, the National Library and many other delightful areas of Christianshavn - beautiful canals and architecture.

After wandering around for a couple of hours we started to get hungry and we couldn’t find anything suitable in the area and so I suggested we head back across he main canal and see if we could get into Segall for lunch. It seemed only right to have our last lunch in Copenhagen at our favourite restaurant. We were in luck Sebastian had a table and so we both had the Segall Club with a glass of wine. It has been really good to support a small business owner like Sebastian and I think he appreciated the support.

After lunch we headed back to the apartment to start packing and get ourselves organised for the trip back to Brussels. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in Copenhagen and I will definitely be back as it is a wonderful city.もっと詳しく
